Job Description

PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION

Primary responsibility of the Supervisor is to oversee the day-to-day operations and administrative responsibilities of multiple Asurion forward stocking locations supporting various in-home client programs. This person serves as an integral part of the SCM support team by ensuring smooth, consistent, and effective operations across assigned sites while providing professional, fiscal, administrative, and clerical support to the department and management.

The Dual Site Supervisor is responsible for leading larger teams across multiple locations, ensuring operational consistency, inventory accuracy, service execution, employee engagement, and facility oversight at each site. This role requires proactive leadership, frequent communication, strong remote management capabilities, and increased follow-up with direct reports to ensure alignment with operational goals and service level expectations.

The Supervisor will also oversee daily claims and returns operations to ensure team members process requests accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with Asurion guidelines, client expectations, and service level agreement requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Implement warehouse operations and administrative support activities across multiple locations to meet quality, productivity, and overall business metrics.
  • Supervise and support larger teams across dual sites to ensure product arrival dispositions, inventory controls, and shipping protocols are consistently executed according to process.
  • Maintain accountability for operational performance, staffing support, inventory management, and facility conditions across assigned locations.
  • Monitor and manage multiple site performance metrics, ensuring operational consistency and timely corrective action when needed.
  • Provide proactive remote leadership and frequent follow-up with direct reports to ensure employee engagement, accountability, development, and operational execution across all assigned locations.
  • Travel regularly between assigned sites to maintain operational coverage, provide employee support, conduct coaching, and ensure business continuity.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to office management, including telephony, computers, printers, equipment, and facilities across multiple locations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by researching discrepancies, performing follow-ups, and driving corrective actions when variances arise.
  • Update department work instructions and identify opportunities to improve operational processes and workflow efficiencies across sites.
  • Collaborate proactively and successfully across departmental boundaries and with cross-functional business partners.
  • Implement new process changes across assigned locations, coaching and training local staff as needed to ensure adoption and compliance.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding operational performance, quality concerns, staffing needs, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate and supervise company vehicle parking, maintenance, and overall compliance across assigned locations.
  • Operate daily in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain flexibility to support business operations, including weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as needed.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead both directly and indirectly while motivating teams across multiple locations to achieve departmental goals.
  • Effectively prioritize workload, staffing support, and operational demands between multiple facilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

(1) Skills/Knowledge

  • Knowledge of supply chain integration, logistics network design, warehouse operations, and inventory management best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operations and teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee engagement skills, including remote leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to identify root causes, troubleshoot operational challenges, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and team facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing operational needs.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to be self-managed and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly between assigned locations.

(2) Experience/Education

  • 3+ years of relevant operations, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain leadership experience preferred.
  • Prior experience managing multiple locations and/or remote teams preferred.

(3) Physical Demands

Bending, sitting, lifting, and standing based on the needs of the business, up to 75 lbs. Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, up to 100% of shift or overtime as required.

(4) Work Environment

Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and/or communicating with customers and clients. Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and in environments with loud machinery.

Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals, and demands for overtime or shift work. Exposure to various materials including cardboard, metals, and plastics. Exposure to moving equipment and objects in the immediate work area such as automated machinery, fulfillment lines, heavily laden carts, and forklifts. Exposure to tools or materials with sharp edges that may involve risk of injury.

Regular travel between assigned locations is required.
