Job Description

  • Coordinates the activities of the planning, logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams.

  • Develops supply and production plans (S & OP, MPS, MRP).

  • Monitors inventory levels (DOS and cost of stock) and optimizes turnover, FIFO, and safety stock.

  • Coordinates the receipt, movement, and shipment of materials, ensuring proper logistics flow both internally and externally.

  • Manages relationships with carriers and optimizes logistics costs.

  • Ensures the accuracy of transport documents and inventories.

  • Manages customer forecasts and orders (including EDI).

  • Ensures OTD performance and manages potential supply/delivery crises.

  • Proactively communicates risks to the management team and customers.

  • Monitors KPIs: OTD, Inventory Turns, forecast accuracy, logistics costs, etc.

  • Analyzes deviations and proposes corrective actions.

  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Kaizen).

  • Manages relationships with internal and external transport providers.

  • Plans transportation to meet delivery deadlines.

  • Optimizes logistics costs and monitors transport suppliers’ performance.

  • Ensures compliance of transport documents: delivery notes, CMR, packing lists UIT

  • Reports logistics indicators to management (OTD, inventory, costs).

  • Analyzes issues and proposes improvement solutions.

  • Proposes and implements Lean solutions in logistics.

  • Automates processes where possible (scanners, WMS, barcodes).

  • Improves delivery times, inventory accuracy, and team efficiency.
