Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and approve payment transactions and message routings.
• Assist team head to supervise daily operations of FPS and Payment Market Infrastructure including but not limited to SWIFT, RTGS, CIPS, CCASS and HKGX.
• Classify and distribute all incoming SWIFT / CIPS messages to related parties.
• Handle payment inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Perform day-end reconciliation of payment messages.
• Prepare and support UAT.
• Assist in preparing monthly management report.
• Report issue found on Faster Payment transactions and Payment Market Infrastructure
• Prepare monthly MIS reports for PCO.
• Perform other duties assigned by Team Head and supervisors.

Requirements:

• Secondary education or above is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of banking experience is preferred.
• Well understanding of payment products, systems and operations.
• Solid experience in payment infrastructure management and development such as SWIFT, RTGS, Faster Payment, CIPS, CCASS and HKGX.
• Good knowledge of payment industry trend and market knowledge.
• Familiar with regulatory requirements such as AML Compliance on payment.

• Proficient in MS Office;

• Prudent and attentive to details;

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
