Description
Opening for a Software Engineer to work as part of a team responsible for development and maintenance of a multi-lingual ERP CloudSuite software application SyteLine and associated interfaces using VC++ / C++, Visual Studio, C# and SQL database.
This role involves design, develop, test, and deliver features ; collaborate with product and operations teams; reduce technical debt; and ensure scalable, reliable ERP capabilities are delivered that drive customer value
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Work as part of a team that researches and enhances a large ERP CloudSuite application based on established requirements
- Software development using various technologies including VC++ / C++, C#, and SQL DB
- Exercise judgment within generally defined procedures, practices, and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for application defects.
- Maintain a commitment to providing the best experience possible for Infor customers
- Desire to learn and adapt to the latest technologies
- Review and contribute to functional business requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong analytic problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Stack Technologies: VC++ / C++, Visual Studio, C#, .Net
- Database server development and performance experience (SQL)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with modern development concepts: OOP, CI/CD, SOLID, TDD, API-First
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- ERP software experience
- Agile Development Experience
- Git code control (using Oxford)
- Familiar with cloud development concepts: multi-tenancy, microservices, elasticity (scaling up/down), high availability, automation
