Job Summary
Responsible for developing and implementing marketing plan and promotional programs for Sports Medicine & Extremities Product Portfolio in consultation with Regional Marketing Group and Medical Education Department and the local Sales team under the guidance and supervision of the BU Head.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy/Business Plan/Budget/New Product Launch Management
- Develop strategic Marketing Plan for SET Product Segment
- Establish local launch plans including, pricing, targeting positioning and promotion.
- Develop marketing objectives, strategies & promotion programs basis business plan and effective execution for both existing and new products.
- Develops methods to evaluate the effectiveness of promotion and advertising programs and make recommendations for improvements or changes as necessary
- Prepare regular report on marketing activities, product launches, promotion, strategies to achieve sales targets and monitoring of competitors’ activities.
Strat Plan & Budgeting
- Map Customers
- Analyse Market potential, build brand plans & prepare 5 year strat plan
Forecast /Projections/E&O Management
- Analyzes market trends and sales potential and review sales forecasts for use in planning and inventory control.
- Improve projections and take accuracy by identifying opportunities and threats in a timely manner
- Review forecasts for new product developments and originate plans and objectives to continually be competitive with or ahead of market needs.
- Planning & Allocation of new Instruments and tracking productivity of existing sets.
- Field Visits/Customer Relationships/Conferences
- Support sales in product promotion plans and to remain aware of product requirements and new market opportunities. Develop and maintain technical expertise and contacts with key surgeons and customers
- Liaises with the National and Regional Sales heads of the SBU to ensure ongoing understanding of marketing issues/opportunities through regular interaction and attending sales meetings
- Planning and coordination to support local/regional/national conventions and professional exhibitions to maintain company image and remain aware of product requirements and new market opportunities.
Training & Education (Internal & External)
- Conduct product training programs to help building up a professional sales force with advanced selling skills and product know-how. Work closely with and assist MedEd to develop HCP education programs which align with the segment strategy.
- Develops and maintains high level of product category knowledge through staying current in published information, regional market contacts, surgeon interaction and industry educational meetings.
Compliance
- Ensures all business activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, corporate policies and ethical standards Key driver in preparation and planning for regional launch of new products

Education/Experience Requirements
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- Full-Time Post Graduation in Management (Marketing)
The candidate must have the following level of experience in, or knowledge of:
Strong experience of dealing with senior stakeholder and customers
Experience in New Product Launch and strategy planning
4 – 6 years of experience in medical devices industry in marketing role
