Senior Finance Specialist – Corporate Planning & Reporting - Finance & Administration
Job Description
What’s the role?
- Prepare financial analysis and reporting for both recurring and ad-hoc management reporting, providing key stakeholders with insights into the performance of the business.
- Partner with business finance teams to ensure insights reflect the business activities appropriately. Engage with business finance teams to understand key drivers and financial activity of their respective areas, providing value-add review.
- Communicate effectively with partners (business finance, systems, accounting, tax) to ensure output is thorough and qualitative.
- Design and implement processes to efficiently deliver reporting and analytics which ensure business leaders can make effective business and operational decisions
- Gain a deep understanding of our workflows; drive process improvement to ensure we are operating as efficiently as possible, including the successful use of technology
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or other business major is required
- 10-15 years of experience in general finance, working across core financial activities (budgeting, management reporting, decision support, etc.)
- Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills, with a demonstrated track record of executing complex financial analysis (operational metrics, resource management, etc.)
- Proven ability to solve complex problems; improving processes and driving productivity
- Exceptional communication skills; ability to distill complexity with a methodical and organized approach
- Ability to effectively manage a broad range of stakeholders across a broad range of disciplines, including senior leaders.
- Experience in analyzing potential impacts of automation and technology
- Experience with financial systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle). Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
