Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR People Partner (HRPP) to provide support across HRBP teams for TikTok Engineering departments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to design and implement people strategies that drive organizational growth, innovation, and high performance. You will be instrumental in enhancing employee engagement, optimizing performance management, and improving organizational effectiveness. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our R&D teams as they scale, with a focus on continuously refining HR processes and launching new initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and provide actionable insights from HR data to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and operations. Lead and support system enhancements and process changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution in alignment with company policies and legal requirements. Act as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders on employee relations issues.
  • Oversee the preparation of documentation for employee mobility and transfers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Support a smooth transition experience for employees moving across roles or locations.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires and coordinate exit interviews. Gather employee feedback and analyze trends to identify opportunities to improve retention and employee satisfaction.
  • Support the administration and execution of performance management programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while partnering with leaders to drive employee development and performance excellence.
  • Coordinate and follow up on cross-functional initiatives involving HR, Administration, Regional Employee Feedback (REF), and Centers of Excellence (COEs), ensuring effective communication, stakeholder alignment, and successful implementation of key programs.
  • Support the planning and execution of regional learning programs, management initiatives, and talent development programs, fostering an engaging and developmental experience for early-career talent.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as needed, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives and organizational priorities.

Minimum Qualification(s)

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, in HR Operations, or as a Generalist.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, analytics, and performance management tools.
  • Experience with employee relations, performance management, and HR processes.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations, particularly in employee relations and mobility.
