TikTok Shop - Dispatch Operations Control Supervisor, Sort Center

TikTok Shop Sorting Center is dedicated to maximizing sorting efficiency and standardizing operations across our national distribution centers. By leveraging data-driven insights and rigorous quality monitoring, we ensure every parcel moves faster and reaches our customers sooner.

The Operations Control Supervisor serves as the central coordination hub of the facility, overseeing the flow of inventory, labor, and operational resources across inbound, warehouse, and outbound operations. This role is responsible for balancing capacity, managing operational disruptions, and driving efficient end to end execution through data driven decision making and cross functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimize the flow of inventory, resources, and operational activities across inbound, warehouse, sortation, and outbound functions.
• Monitor facility wide capacity and throughput to ensure balanced workflow execution and prevent operational bottlenecks, congestion, or downstream delays.
• Oversee warehouse space utilization, buffer capacity, and inventory movement to maximize storage efficiency and operational flow.
• Partner closely with Operations, Transportation, Yard, and Planning teams to align priorities and maintain seamless execution across the facility.
• Lead operational response efforts during disruptions, including transportation delays, volume surges, system outages, and other service impacting events.
• Dynamically allocate resources and adjust operational plans to minimize business impact and maintain service level commitments.
• Analyze operational performance data, identify bottlenecks and process gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and distribute daily operational reports and performance insights to support decision making and execution planning.
• Serve as a key escalation point for cross functional operational issues and facilitate timely resolution.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree or above.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics operations, warehouse operations, transportation, fulfillment, or supply chain environments, preferably within large scale distribution centers, sortation hubs, or e commerce fulfillment networks.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data and make effective decisions in a fast paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and perform effectively.
• Strong communication and cross functional coordination skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and drive operational execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Experience in operational planning, flow control, capacity planning, dispatch coordination, or control tower functions.
• Experience supporting hub operations, parcel logistics networks, or high volume fulfillment centers.
• Experience using WMS, TMS, labor planning, or operational reporting systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional initiatives and drive process improvements through data driven decision making.
