How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Drive Proactive Imaging Scheduling: Systematically manage and clear the pending exam queue, transforming physician orders into confirmed appointments by outreach to patients.

  • Bridge Communication Gaps: Deliver fluent Spanish-language support, providing clear, culturally competent navigation for patients during scheduling, pre-exam instructions, and clinical intake.

  • Command High-Volume Communications: Orchestrate front-line clinic communications by answering inbound calls, checking prior-day voicemails first thing, and executing prompt callbacks to minimize patient wait times.

  • Optimize Order Diagnostics: Review incoming imaging scripts and documentation within the EHR to ensure accurate scheduling based on the specific modality requested (X-Ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound).

  • Cultivate Exceptional Patient Access: Serve as the welcoming, professional face of the imaging network, easing patient anxiety and setting the tone for a high-quality clinical experience.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Bilingual Fluency: Absolute fluency in both Spanish and English is a mandatory requirement to effectively serve our diverse patient base.

  • Patient Interaction Excellence: Proven success in a patient-facing or healthcare customer service capacity, with a strong emphasis on professional phone etiquette.

  • Clinical Scheduling Acumen: Previous experience in medical scheduling or patient access is highly preferred; familiarity with navigating medical orders and queues is a massive plus.

  • Organizational Priority Management: A self-motivated professional who can walk in, check messages, and autonomously prioritize a high-volume call and email queue.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR) and computerized scheduling software with high data entry accuracy.
