We are an immigration consulting business operating in Australia (Sydney) and the UK, helping clients with immigration and visa services. We are looking for a proactive Digital Marketing and Social Media Assistant to support our growth efforts and help generate leads through organic content and digital marketing initiatives.
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and organized individual to manage social media marketing activities and support lead generation efforts. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling multiple digital marketing tasks, including content management, social media posting, email marketing and audience growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage and grow social media channels:
○ Instagram
○ TikTok
○ Facebook
● Edit and repurpose video content for multiple platforms
● Create and schedule engaging social media posts
● Assist with content planning and content building
● Manage email marketing campaigns through Outlook and related tools
● Support lead generation through:
○ Organic marketing strategies
○ Community engagement
○ Digital outreach initiatives
● Track performance and provide progress updates
● Help develop future paid advertising campaigns as the business scales
Required Skills and Experience
● Experience managing social media accounts professionally
● Video editing skills for short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, etc.)
● Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals
● Experience with email marketing campaigns
● Knowledge of lead generation strategies
● Strong written communication skills
● Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
● Organized and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience working with service-based businesses
● Familiarity with immigration, education, legal, or consulting industries
● Experience with social media automation and scheduling tools
● Basic understanding of paid advertising (Meta Ads, etc.)
Communication and Working Style
● Comfortable working independently
● Reporting/check-ins every 2–3 days initially rather than daily reporting
● Potential to take on more client-facing responsibilities as the role evolves

This role starts as a marketing support position but may expand into a larger role involving lead qualification, customer engagement, and broader marketing responsibilities as the business grows.
