Position: Immunization Coordinator

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring an Immunization Coordinator. We’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.
 
REQUIREMENTS:                              
  • CMA, CCMA, or RMA is preferred
  • Experience in immunization program coordination or public health nursing.
  • Knowledge of immunization schedules, vaccine storage requirements, and reporting protocols.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams and community partners.
  • Certified Immunization Specialist (CIS) credential or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience working within public health departments or community health organizations preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and immunization information systems (IIS) preferred.
  • Advanced training in epidemiology or infectious disease control preferred.
  • Bilingual abilities to effectively communicate with diverse populations preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  The Immunization Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and overseeing immunization programs within the healthcare setting in Marlette, 9MRH. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of vaccination initiatives to protect community health and prevent the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases. The coordinator collaborates with healthcare providers, public health officials, and community organizations to promote immunization awareness and compliance with regulatory standards. They also manage vaccine inventory, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and reporting requirements. Ultimately, the role aims to enhance immunization coverage rates and contribute to the overall health and well-being of the population served.
