We are looking for a passionate and quality-driven Automation Test Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining automated test solutions while ensuring high product quality across modern applications and hardware-integrated systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment and help drive continuous improvements in testing practices.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using TypeScript, Gherkin, and BDD.

  • Perform manual, exploratory, integration, regression, and hardware testing activities.

  • Develop and execute end-to-end automated tests using Playwright and WebDriverIO.

  • Monitor and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

  • Collaborate with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.

  • Participate in sprint planning, test planning, and agile ceremonies.

  • Contribute to improving automation frameworks, testing processes, and engineering best practices.

  • Stay updated with emerging testing tools and technologies, including AI-enabled testing solutions.

What you bring

Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, WebDriverIO, TypeScript, and BDD/Gherkin.

  • Experience working with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Good understanding of API testing and modern web application testing.

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

  • Experience with manual, integration, and regression testing.

  • Exposure to hardware integration or device-level testing is an added advantage.

  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools or automation assistants is a plus.
