Job Summary Responsible for maintaining and repairing Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to ensure safety, reliability, and operational readiness
Duties include preventive maintenance, diagnostics (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems), welding and painting, and coordination with maintenance subcontractors
Also ensures proper reporting, inventory, and follow-up on equipment performance and repairs
Role & Function Perform maintenance and performance improvement interventions on GSE in coordination with the maintenance subcontractor
Oversee refurbishment, touch-up treatment, and carry out panel beating and painting of GSE
Ensure compliance with the preventive maintenance schedule for GSE
Monitor the execution of preventive maintenance tasks
Responsibilities Ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of GSE (Ground Support Equipment): Assist with and validate the GSE equipment acceptance reports
Use technical documentation and manufacturers' publications
Handle the maintenance of all GSE to meet operational needs, ensuring a safe and reliable fleet
Assess the performance, reliability, and proper functioning of regularly maintained equipment to minimize unexpected downtime, proactively anticipate issues, ensure safe operation, and identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
Diagnose, maintain, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Maintain GSE using welding, dent removal, and sanding techniques
Maintain GSE using basic metalwork and painting techniques
Ensure intervention reports are properly filled out and shared with the maintenance subcontractor
Validate required maintenance work and spare parts orders with the subcontractor; final approval will be given by management
Co-validate subcontractor maintenance reports and corrective maintenance invoices with management
Regularly monitor the preventive maintenance schedule established by the subcontractor
Ensure follow-up and maintenance of wheelchairs and support accessories
Handle complaints, participate in investigations, and contribute to the preparation of reports
Reporting & Monitoring Maintain regular reports
Report any anomalies or incidents to management
Ensure regular inventory of GSE equipment
Your profile Two-year technical degree (Bac+2) in mechanics or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance
Valid Category B driver's license
