About the Team & Business Line:
Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.
As a Senior Vice President in Client Services, you will be the driving force behind exceptional service delivery for a portfolio of key private equity clients. You will shape and lead the client service strategy, build lasting relationships at the most senior levels, and ensure our clients consistently experience the quality and reliability Citco is known for. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of client partnership, operational leadership, and business growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Client Relationship & Service Excellence
- Lead and implement a client service programme that sets clear standards and delivers a consistently high-quality experience for key clients
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders and key decision-makers, visiting clients regularly to understand their priorities and evaluate service quality
- Participate in client calls and oversee reporting delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with agreed requirements
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex client issues, guiding resolution with a calm, solutions-focused approach
Business Development & Growth
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for growth across the business line
- Contribute to business development pitches and presentations for both prospective and existing clients
Operational & Risk Oversight
- Monitor service levels, profitability, and resourcing across the business line, proactively addressing any negative trends
- Establish and maintain a Risk Management Framework, including quality control reviews and continuous risk assessment of funds under administration
- Provide monthly reporting on operational risk, key developments, and project status
- Lead a proactive response to regulatory and industry changes, driving relevant initiatives across Citco Fund Services
People & Team Leadership
- Manage, develop, and support team members to ensure the effective running of the department
- Participate in the review of departmental procedures and policies, and support the team in adhering to them
- Contribute to and lead cross-functional projects as the business continues to grow and evolve
What We're Looking For
You are a confident, collaborative leader who brings both strategic thinking and hands-on client focus. You are comfortable engaging at the most senior levels while also supporting your team's day-to-day success. You likely bring:
- A strong background in financial services, with experience in fund accounting, operations, or product control environments
- Proven experience leading and developing teams, with a track record of building high-performing, engaged groups
- The ability to manage complex client relationships with professionalism, empathy, and clarity
- A sound understanding of risk management principles and how to apply them in a fund services context
- Excellent communication skills — you can adapt your style whether you're presenting to a client, mentoring a team member, or navigating a complex issue
- A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and act on them
Experience & Skills
- Degree-level education (bachelor's or master's) or equivalent professional qualification
- Significant experience in financial services, ideally within fund accounting, operations, or a related discipline
- Familiarity with private assets fund structures is a must
Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams
- Strong risk awareness and experience working within governance or compliance frameworks
