As the Direct Support Professional – Community Integration Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through: 

  • Planning and leading person-centered community engagement actives that reflect individuals’ goals, preferences, and Life Plans
  • Coordinating and following structured recreation plans, incorporating individual input and adapting to program needs as appropriate
  • Facilitating access to community resources and opportunities while promoting inclusion, social connections, and relationship building

 

Direct Support Professional – Community Integration Specialist Minimum Salary: $20.00/hour

 

Direct Support Professional – Community Integration Specialist Maximum Salary:  $20.00/hour

 

Direct Support Professional – Community Integration Specialist Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 11am-7pm *some flexibility with hours needed*


**The training requirements are 4 days of Orientation, SCIP CPR/First Aid, and Medication Administration Certification, including successful completion of medication pours. All of these trainings are paid and hosted by Catholic Charities Disabilities Services. All Trainings must be successfully completed within 90 days of employment.**

 


Qualifications: 

  • All employees must consent to a full criminal background check and fingerprinting
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
  • High School Diploma or GED
