The Food Runner is responsible for supporting daily operations at Seaway Restaurant, ensuring all food is delivered promptly and presented according to Four Seasons standards. This role works closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to maintain a seamless service flow in a dynamic, oceanfront setting. This position is part of the Food & Beverage team at Seaway, reporting to Restaurant Management.
What you will do:
Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests at Seaway Restaurant quickly and accurately
Ensure proper presentation and quality of dishes before serving
Support service team members by assisting with table maintenance and guest needs
Clear plates, glassware, and utensils from tables efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of Seaway’s dining room, terrace, and service areas
Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations
Provide accurate menu knowledge and assist guests when needed
Follow all health, safety, and service standards
Assist with opening and closing duties within the restaurant
What you bring:
Minimum of 6 months of experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
Basic food & beverage knowledge; wine and cocktail knowledge is a plus
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Positive attitude with a proactive, service-oriented approach
Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor restaurant environment
Ability to work indoors and outdoors year-round
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
