Job Description

UX Researcher

Department: Product Design Department

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Egypt

Description

As a UX Researcher on the Superapp team in Egypt, you will own end-to-end research on
complex product questions that inform strategy and long-term roadmaps. You will combine
advanced and mixed methods to answer the questions that matter most for Egyptian users and
translate findings into clear, action-oriented narratives for Product and Design partners.
You’ll work with guidance from senior researchers on the most strategic and ambiguous
initiatives, but operate independently on the day-to-day craft: scoping studies, designing them,
moderating sessions, synthesizing across data sources, and presenting to stakeholders up to
senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scope and lead research initiatives of moderate-to-high complexity on the Superapp, with senior researcher guidance on initiatives with strategic impact
  • Select and combine mixed methods (e.g., diary studies, unmoderated testing, surveys, in-depth interviews) to answer complex product and user questions
  • Design comprehensive research plans, discussion guides, and screeners
  • Independently moderate complex sessions, including sensitive topics (such as income, private life, or trust and safety) and challenging participant dynamics, adapting in real time
  • Perform advanced qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify nuanced patterns, drivers, and user needs; synthesize across multiple studies and data sources
  • Develop frameworks or models that explain user behaviors, workflows, or market trends in the Egyptian context, validated with evidence
  • Create high-impact, audience-focused deliverables and present findings up to senior leadership
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners; manage expectations across the research lifecycle and influence strategy through evidence-based narratives
  • Lead cross-functional research initiatives and proactively share prior research knowledge with Product and Design partners

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 2–4 years of UX Research experience, with a track record of leading studies that shaped product decisions
  • Strong command of qualitative and quantitative methods, with experience designing and running mixed-method studies
  • Experience moderating complex or sensitive sessions and adapting in real time
  • Ability to synthesize across multiple studies and data sources, and to develop frameworks that explain user behavior
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects reliably, with sound prioritization and ownership
  • Experience mentoring non-researchers
  • English language proficiency at B2 level or above

Conditions & Benefits

  • Stable salary, official employment
  • Health insurance
  • Hybrid work mode and flexible schedule
  • Access to professional counseling services, including psychological, financial, and legal support
  • Discount club membership
  • Diverse internal training programs
  • Partially or fully paid additional training courses
  • All necessary work equipment
