Job Summary

This job entails implementing machine learning algorithms for products, model training, and deployment management. It involves data pipeline design, technical documentation, and innovation with patents and APIs. The role evaluates ML solutions, conducts case studies, and designs proof of concept strategies. It also includes research contribution for future development.

Job Description

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

AI-Driven Development & Low-Code Solutions

  • Use GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and related tools to accelerate software development, workflow automation, and prototyping.

  • Build low-code or lightweight applications and integrations that improve legal intake, document routing, knowledge access, and other legal operations workflows.

  • Apply AI-assisted development practices while following established engineering standards for quality, testing, and maintainability.

Integration Engineering

  • Develop and support integrations using Python, RESTful APIs, and secure data exchange patterns.

  • Build reusable integration components for legal technology platforms such as contract lifecycle management, matter management, document management, e-signature, and knowledge systems.

  • Help ensure solutions align with enterprise security, privacy, compliance, and data governance requirements, including the handling of sensitive legal information.

Data Management & Governance

  • Apply data quality and data hygiene practices to maintain accurate, consistent, and well-governed legal data and metadata across systems.

  • Support data mapping, validation, and monitoring efforts that improve search, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled use cases.

Collaboration & Business Alignment

  • Partner with Legal, Legal Operations, and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, refine use cases, and implement solutions aligned with business priorities.

  • Translate legal workflow requirements into technical designs and deliverables with guidance from senior engineers and product or business leads where appropriate.

  • Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, testing, and agile ceremonies to support reliable delivery and adoption.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with emerging AI development tools, integration patterns, and legal technology capabilities relevant to the team.

  • Contribute to documentation, peer reviews, and continuous improvement efforts across development and support processes.

  • Apply established best practices in AI-assisted development and low-code platforms.

  • Other duties as assigned

Education
