WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Provide administrative assistance to the loan officers and staff, including updating loan data into the financial institution’s computers, and assembling of documentation for customer loans
- Ensures that loan files contain documents with proper signature, dates and other relevant data
- Assembles and verifies accuracy of loan documentation
- Checks documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates, and signatures
- Maintains new and paid loan files. Performs a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures. Uses office computers for data input and other activities, and orders credit reports
- Evaluates and solves minor to intermediate loan problems
- Scans loan documents
- Answers telephone inquiries and written inquiries concerning loan processing and information
- Cross-markets financial institution products and services as appropriate
- Effectively utilizes Learning & Development tools and resources
- Understands the importance of and follows bank policies and procedures
- Handles confidential information and documents to ensure customer privacy
- Demonstrates accuracy, punctuality and preparedness
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills
- Adheres to high ethical standards, and complies with industry regulations/applicable laws
- Demonstrates an ability to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines with enthusiasm
- Models a high level of integrity and professionalism

- Performs other various duties as requested
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6-12 months of experience in an administrative, banking, finance, or office environment preferred
- Good understanding of financial institution products and services
- Experience with loan documentation or loan processing is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Strong administrative, filing, and organizational skills
