Position Summary
Connors Group is seeking a Project Manager to join the Implementation Services and Support team. Depending on experience, this individual may also serve as a Project Lead or Senior Consultant on client engagements.
This role leads consulting teams in the successful implementation of Workforce Technology Systems. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, recommending best practices, managing project plans, overseeing system configuration and testing, and ensuring successful delivery and deployment. The Project Manager partners closely with clients to align solutions with business needs and provides training and end-user support throughout the implementation process.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead team of consultants to successful implementations of Workforce Technology Systems
- Develops project plans, tracks and reports progress including budgets
- Assists clients in the analysis and implementation of technical systems, software, hardware or solutions
- Evaluates client’s needs, develops and recommends configurations that support business processes
- Defines and executes on delivery and implementation plans
- Oversees test plans and troubleshooting techniques in support of final system setups
- Ensures delivery of training and end-user support during and after the implementation process
- Prepares and participates in pre-sales product demonstrations
- Development of weekly status and client presentations as required
- Keeps abreast of new technologies that provide efficiency gains for our clients’ businesses
- Primarily Remote Work, but minimal travel (10% - 20%) may be required for certain clients, throughout the US and Internationally
Competencies:
- Conducts client engagements including client staff and internal teams; effectively interact and communicate directly with clients
- Demonstrates sufficient business knowledge to prioritize daily activities
- Assists in the development of comprehensive presentations at the appropriate level of detail to explain business requirements and the technical solutions that support them
- Working knowledge of database design and business intelligence tools for the purpose of investigation and problem solving
- Demonstrates ability to assess and solve problems quickly
- Demonstrates strong Excel-based abilities, including data analysis and data manipulation techniques in support of translating client data into system requirements
- Flexibility to work alternative hours, including evenings and weekends, when required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or relevant experience
- Industry Experience in Workforce Management Systems (Reflexis, Legion, Quinyx, INFOR, Blue Yonder, Ceridian, Red Prairie, Blue Cube, JDA, Workbrain, Empower etc.) or other relevant forecasting, scheduling and timekeeping platforms.
- Experience with labor management, forecasting, scheduling, budgeting, timekeeping, attendance, accruals, and task management systems
- Strong knowledge of Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheets and associated methodologies
- Preferred: Experience in Retail sector
- Preferred: Knowledge of core IE principles, including Labor Standards, MOST, time studies
- Preferred: Working knowledge of business intelligence platforms as it relates to the verticals being serviced
- Excellent knowledge and functional capabilities with MS Office including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to speak and present yourself well with client project teams
- Strong work ethic and capability to work independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Working conditions
Primary work environment is a Remote. When Consultants are working remotely, they are expected to set up and maintain a quiet, productive workspace with an appropriate workstation, a high-speed internet connection, and phone or cell phone connection, a printer, and all other necessary office supplies.
Work hours are primarily during normal business hours Monday through Friday but vary based on the client. On limited occasions, work outside of these normal hours may be required:
- Time of day: Flexible work hours, but occasional evenings or overnight based on client needs may be required.
- Day of week: Monday - Friday, weekends as necessary based on client needs
