The Contracts Manager will be responsible for development, negotiation, and execution of complex customer contracts and amendments supporting the Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business unit. This role partners closely with THV Sales, Pricing, Rebates, Legal, and Finance to ensure contracts are structured in alignment with approved strategies, compliant with internal policies, and operationally executable. The role operates as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on contract structure, risk, and execution.
Role is onsite (4 days office, 1 remote) based out of the Edwards Corporate Campus location in Irvine, CA.
How you’ll make an impact:
Serve as a contracts subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on contract structure, terms, and execution
Draft, review, negotiate, and execute complex customer contracts and amendments, including rebate programs, pricing tiers, term extensions, and product changes
Ensure contracts align with THV guidelines, approval requirements, and legal/compliance standards
Partner with Pricing and Rebates teams to align contract terms with approved strategies and operational processes
Translate sales proposals into clear, executable contract language while balancing business needs with financial, legal, and compliance considerations
Identify contract risks, gaps, or inconsistencies and provide clear recommendations to resolve them
Collaborate with internal and external partners to clarify key terms, including rebate structures, volume definitions, and aggregation methodologies
Support contract strategy and process improvements, including template updates and system or policy enhancements
Manage a high volume of contracts simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail
Support ad hoc contract reviews, issue resolution, and time-sensitive business needs

What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience based on Edwards criteria
Minimum eight (8) years experience in contract management, bid management, or a related contracts management function
What else we look for (Preferred):
Experience supporting complex healthcare agreements, including rebate structures, pricing tiers, and multi-year contracts
Experience working with hospital systems, IDNs, or large healthcare customers
Knowledge of contract terms and structures such as pricing, rebates, effective dates, aggregation methods, and true-ups
Strong judgment with the ability to assess risk and recommend practical solutions
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Pricing, Rebates, Legal)
Strong attention to detail with contract drafting and review experience
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with contract or pricing systems is a plus
Ability to proactively identify and escalate risks with clear recommendations

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $105,000 to $148,000 (highly experienced).
