Headquartered with solid family roots in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, the company is now one of America's largest lumber producers, with capacity for nearly 2 billion board feet per year and markets around the globe.

The company operates six sawmills in northern Idaho located in Moyie Springs, Chilco, Laclede, Lewiston and Grangeville and a finger joint mill in Athol. IFG also operates a mill in Lumberton, MS. Idaho Forest Group produces a variety of species for both domestic and export.
