The Tarrant County Hospital District, known as JPS Health Network, is a nationally recognized system anchored by John Peter Smith Hospital, a 582-bed facility in Fort Worth.

JPS operates the county’s longest-running Level I Trauma Center and one of the nation’s busiest emergency departments. With 25+ community locations, Acclaim Health, and JPS Foundation, it expands access to exceptional, patient-centered care.

As the county’s largest physician training institution, JPS offers extensive residency and fellowship programs, drives research, and leads in behavioral health services.
