Located in southeastern North Carolina, Wayne County Public Schools is the 21st largest school district in the state with 32 schools and approximately 19,000 students grades K-13.

Over the past 149 years, our school district has grown to approximately 3,000 employees, making us the second largest employer in Wayne County.
