Position Overview
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all transportation and warehouse operations at the location. This role ensures the efficient daily execution of inbound and outbound activities while partnering closely with vendors, customers, Account Coordinators (AC), and the Operational Services (OS) team.
You’ll drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize costs and service levels, and ensure a safe, high-performing warehouse environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors, leads, and associates to ensure high performance and engagement
Oversee daily warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently and accurately
Partner with Operations and Regional leadership to improve processes and drive operational performance
Lead hiring, onboarding, and training for full-time and temporary warehouse staff
Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant work environment, including oversight of equipment, maintenance logs, and safety programs
Monitor inventory accuracy through physical counts and ERP reconciliation, addressing variances as needed
Review and manage location expenses, identify variances, and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local warehousing and transportation regulations
Lead warehouse safety initiatives, including forklift certification and reporting
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Confirmed leadership experience in warehouse or distribution operations
Strong understanding of transportation, inventory management, and warehouse systems (ERP experience preferred)
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and cost efficiencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes
