About the Role
At Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As a Talent Management Business Partner, you will play a key role in helping our leaders build, support, and grow a talented workforce that advances our mission to eliminate cancer's grip on humanity.
This is more than a recruiting role. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization, helping them plan for current and future workforce needs, strengthen talent pipelines, improve retention, and create a positive employee experience.
A significant focus of this position will be supporting our nursing and clinical populations. You will partner closely with nursing leadership to understand hiring demands, workforce trends, succession planning needs, and strategies to attract and retain top nursing talent.

The starting annual salary for this position is $93,659 and this can include a full comprehensive benefits package.

What You'll Do:
Partner with leaders to understand workforce needs and develop talent strategies that support departmental goals
Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, with a strong emphasis on nursing and clinical positions
Build strong relationships with managers and serve as a trusted resource on talent and workforce matters
Collaborate with leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and identifying future talent needs
Help identify skills gaps and develop strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent
Analyze hiring, turnover, and workforce trends to provide insights that support informed decision-making
Promote a positive employee experience through coaching, guidance, and problem-solving support
Partner with leadership to strengthen employee engagement and retention efforts
Support organizational changes, workforce initiatives, and talent programs across the organization
Coach and train managers on recruiting best practices, talent management strategies, and employee support practices
Contribute to the development and maintenance of strong internal and external talent pipelines
Provide leadership and support for talent management processes, systems, and team initiatives


What You'll Bring:

Successful candidates will typically have:
Experience in talent acquisition, talent management, human resources, workforce planning, or a related field
The ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and employees at all levels
Experience supporting healthcare, nursing, clinical, or other high-volume workforce populations is highly valued
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence using data and workforce insights to influence decisions and drive results
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience coaching managers and supporting employee engagement and retention efforts
A proactive, consultative approach to problem solving
A passion for helping people succeed and supporting organizational growth

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree, and the equivalent of at least four (4) years of full-time human resources, recruiting, business administration, or related experience; or
2. Associate’s degree, and the equivalent of at least six (6) years of full-time human resources, recruiting, business administration, or related experience; or
3.High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, and the equivalent of at least eight (8) years of full-time human resources, recruiting, business administration, or related experience.

NOTE:
Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
