Join our team as a Licensing Manager, where you’ll play a key role in advancing innovative projects that bring ideas from concept to impact. In this position, you’ll work closely with leadership to support and manage a dynamic portfolio of technology transfer initiatives.What You’ll Do:
Partner with the Director of Technology Transfer to support and advance departmental priorities and strategic projects
Take primary ownership of assigned projects and case management, ensuring timely progress and successful outcomes
Provide consultation and guidance across a range of technology transfer cases and initiatives
Interpret and apply organizational policies related to intellectual property and technology transfer activities
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate efficient project execution and decision-making
Help maintain consistency, quality, and compliance across all technology transfer processes
What You Bring:
Experience managing projects or cases in technology transfer, research administration, or a related field
Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and apply policies and procedures
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Starting salary is $93,659 which includes a comprehensive benefits package
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience1. Master’s degree in a scientific field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time relevant experience in technology transfer, intellectual property management or related environment; or
2. Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time relevant experience in technology transfer, intellectual property management or related environment.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in a science or technical field, and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time relevant experience in technology transfer, intellectual property management or related environment, or
Master’s degree in a scientific field, the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time relevant experience in technology transfer, intellectual property management or related environment; and RTTP or CLP certification, or
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time relevant experience in technology transfer, intellectual property management or related environment, and RTTP or CLP certification.
