About the Team
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the Growth Support Team in Heredia, Costa Rica. In this role, you will execute day-to-day activities within one or more assigned functional areas while helping the Chief Accounting Office scale effectively through critical initiatives, transformation programs, and high-volume periods.You will deliver immediate value by quickly ramping on new processes, maintaining high-quality execution, and contributing to process documentation and optimization. You will work closely with functional area leaders and SMEs to support critical workflows, testing efforts, and operational readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Execution
Perform day-to-day activities in line with internal controls, compliance requirements, and functional team standard operating procedures.
Support key operational cycles such as period-close, high-volume processing (e.g., quarter-end, year-end, compensation cycles), and coverage for planned or unplanned absences.
Assist with system-related activities within assigned processes (e.g., validating changes, supporting testing efforts, and transitioning work into business-as-usual).
Ramp quickly on new assignments, systems, and workflows, adjusting daily tasks and priorities to respond to changing business needs.
Provide proactive status updates on workload, progress against deliverables, and emerging risks or issues.
Collaborate effectively with global teams across time zones, ensuring alignment on priorities and expectations.
Process Stewardship & Optimization
Own and maintain process documentation for assigned activities, including creating or updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or improve processes and raise recommendations to functional leaders and the Growth Support Team.
Support the implementation of agreed process changes (e.g., updates to templates, controls, handoffs, and metrics).
Ensure thorough knowledge transfer at the end of each assignment so that process and system knowledge remains with the functional team.
Professional Capability & Readiness
Participate in required training, shadowing, and cross-functional learning sessions across CAO functional areas.
Close technical and process knowledge gaps needed to successfully complete current and upcoming assignments.
Use feedback from managers and stakeholders to adjust working methods and improve day-to-day performance.
Support a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the Growth Support Team and the broader Accounting organization.
About You
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience in accounting operations roles with high-volume processing, specifically in areas such as Record to Report, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Revenue Accounting, Purchasing/Procure-to-Pay, and/or Expenses within a corporate, shared services, or Global Capability Center environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business (related fields may be considered with strong, demonstrable accounting operations experience).
Proven experience working in time-bound cycles (e.g., month-end, quarter-end, year-end, or compensation/commission cycles) with high accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
