Committees Officer (French Speaker) | CCO
Job Description
Natixis in Portugal is currently seeking a Committees Officer to join its CCO (Chief Client Office) team, within the BSA (Banking Support Activities) area.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the committees under his/her responsibilities (e.g., Comité des Grandes Affaires / Bizcom / Resources Allocation Committee / CovidCom), as well as their overall functioning, ensuring that the committees operate efficiently and achieve its objectives.
- Schedule and plan committees meetings, ensuring they take place at regular intervals, are well-organized, the agenda is previously communicated and also taking into account the availability of committee members and stakeholders when setting meeting dates.
- Manage stakeholders, including committee members, management, FO and other relevant parties, to ensure everyone is informed about meeting schedules, agendas and other important updates.
- Prepare the meeting agenda in consultation with key stakeholders and by gathering input from committee members and relevant departments to include important topics, ensure the agenda is comprehensive and to guarantee the “Chinese wall” principle.
- Gather relevant data and information from various sources and tools (e.g., Singular, Nat’1, etc.) to be discussed during the committee meetings.
- Act as a facilitator during committees meetings, ensuring that discussions remain focused, confirm that the quorum is met and time is managed efficiently
- Take detailed minutes of the committee meetings, documenting decisions, action items and discussions, serving as a reference for future meetings and submits them for validation (e.g., Bizcom: taking into account Natixis Credit Committee deadline).
- Continually assess the effectiveness of the committee's operations and suggests improvements to enhance its efficiency and impact.
- Manage and coordinate the "Deal of the Month" / "Deal of the Year" initiative: Initiates communication e-mails to solicit applications from the front office, organizes voting processes with jury members and develops final communication materials with the winning team.
Hard Skills
- Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar.
- Around 3 years of work experience, ideally in business management, audit, Front/Middle office.
- Fluency in English and comfortable in French (written and spoken).
- Sound understanding of the products of CIB business lines.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
- Capacity to work with BI tools.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

- Strong communication skills, precision and process-oriented mind.
- Ability to deliver under pressure, and restitute debates / exchanges which lead to decisions.
