Know you matter. Join us and help bring great experiences to life, starting with you!    We’re looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Payroll & Systems to lead our payroll function, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient delivery while driving system optimisation and continuous improvement. Reporting to the GM of People & Culture, this critical role partners with the broader P&C team, Finance, and Operations to deliver a high-quality employee experience. The role is on a Full-Time basis and can be located out of either our Sydney CBD or Brisbane Hamilton office.   Benefits Heavily discounted accommodation at Ingenia Holiday Parks Retailer discounts Novated lease options Hybrid working options Up to 26 weeks parental leave Employee Share options after 12 months' service   Key Responsibilities  Lead end-to-end payroll operations (fortnightly & monthly) for 1300 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, audit integrity, correct cost allocations, and timely processing of starters, leavers, changes and EFT payments Own payroll system (Dayforce), driving optimisation, automation, integrations and continuous process improvement Ensure compliance with Awards, legislation and statutory obligations; monitor changes and advise the business on impacts Oversee reporting, reconciliations and month/year-end processes, partnering with Finance on cash flow forecasting, accruals and statutory reporting Lead, coach and develop the payroll function, managing stakeholder relationships across HR, Finance and Operations and delivering high-quality service and query resolution     About You  Extensive experience leading payroll in a complex/high-volume environment, with strong governance and audit focus Deep knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Awards and compliance requirements Dayforce experience is essential Systems-driven, with strong experience in T&A systems and process improvement Advanced Excel and analytical capability, with experience reporting, reconciling and partnering with Finance Proven people leader with strong stakeholder management, highly organised, detail-driven, adaptable and customer-focused mindset   Recruitment Process  Apply via Ingenia's website (no cover letter needed) Phone conversation with Talent Acquisition team Interviews Background Checks Receive your offer, and join your team that values your contribution and collaboration  All applicants must be able to work in Australia and provide evidence of working rights, as well as undergo a National Police Check.    To learn more about what it’s like to work with Ingenia, take a look at our LinkedIn page here.
