Job Description

The Marketing Specialist for Distributor Markets is responsible for enabling, coordinating, and elevating marketing execution through Laerdal’s distributor network. The role acts as a bridge between central marketing and local distributor marketing teams, ensuring consistent adoption of Laerdal’s marketing strategy while respecting local market needs. A core part of the role is to collaborate with, coach, and mentor distributor marketing staff, building marketing capability, structure, and confidence so distributors can independently and effectively execute campaigns that drive demand, funnel, and impact. Accountabilities Translate Laerdal's global product marketing strategy and initiatives into executable plans for EMEA distributor markets. Partner with the GPMM team to ensure sales enablement is in place for distributors across portfolios. Enable EMEA distributors to plan, execute, and measure marketing that drives demand and funnel. Standardise and roll out campaign packages, toolkits, and playbooks for distributor use. Safeguard brand, quality, and messaging consistency across distributor-led activity. Own EMEA distributor MDF and co-marketing investments, and their measurable return. Build long-term distributor marketing capability through mentoring, training, and governance. Responsibilities Strategy Planning Co-create annual marketing plans with key EMEA distributors, aligned to global priorities and sales targets. Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to inform planning. Lead GTM and launch execution for new products, solutions, and campaigns across distributor markets, including readiness, rollout, and performance tracking. Adapt segmentation, positioning, and messaging for distributor audiences and their end customers (hospitals, EMS, military, academia, ministries of health) to reflect local market needs. Sales Partnership Enablement Act as marketing lead for the EMEA distributor sales team Partner with GPMM to build and maintain the distributor sales toolkit across portfolios Own launch enablement end-to-end: ensure timely information flow into the EMEA sales org, coordinate readiness across internal and distributor teams, and deliver training ahead of launch. Feed sales and win/loss insights back into marketing priorities. Campaign Execution Co-Marketing Localise and deploy campaigns for distributors. Design co-marketing programs (webinars, congresses, digital, social, email) with strategic partners. Coordinate distributor activation at key events (Arab Health, Medica, SSH Europe, national society meetings). Drive pull-through demand from distributor pipeline to end-customer adoption. Training Coaching Coach distributor marketers on campaign planning, events, digital fundamentals (GDPR-compliant), brand and messaging, and use of extranets and PIBs. Deliver training and maintain an EMEA distributor marketing curriculum. Facilitate best-practice sharing across EMEA distributors. Relationship Management Performance Join joint business planning and quarterly reviews with EMEA distributors. Partner with Product Management, Clinical Education, and Regional Marketing on launch and content readiness. Define and track KPIs: asset adoption, campaign engagement, funnel contribution, partner-led revenue. Report performance to Global PMM and EMEA sales leadership; surface EMEA market and competitive insights back into global planning.
