About the role
In this position, you will play a vital role in achieving and exceeding sales objectives for Ansell’s Scientific product portfolio across Emerging Markets (CEE, Mediterranean, Middle East, and Africa). You will be responsible for managing and growing a dedicated portfolio of distributors and end users, developing sales strategies, expanding the distribution network, and executing direct and indirect sales activities.
Working closely with local sales teams, distributors, and internal stakeholders, you will drive revenue growth, protect margins, maximize profitability, and support customer acquisition, retention, and conversions. The role combines account management with active sales execution and lead management.
Responsibilities
· Drive volume, revenue, profit, and market share in assigned accounts in line with channel strategy and targets
· Manage strategic, key, and regular accounts end-to-end, ensuring revenue growth, margin protection, and up-/cross-selling
· Identify, prioritize, and execute new business opportunities with distributors and end users
· Develop and execute joint business plans with key distributors, including objectives, strategies, and promotions
· Execute conversions, direct sales, prospecting, customer acquisition, and retention activities
· Monitor competitive activity and share market insights with internal stakeholders
· Train and support distributor teams via webinars, training sessions, and business reviews
· Engage customers regularly to capture and act on the Voice of the Customer
· Conduct customer and competitive analysis and ensure delivery of defined sales KPIs
· Support annual sales budgeting and long-term target setting for Life Sciences
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction
· Act as CRM specialist, ensuring accurate, detailed, and up-to-date customer data
· Support Global Supply Chain through sale of Excess and Obsolete stock (E&O)
· Report sales performance and activity progress to Sales leadership
· Participate in customer visits, external events, and regional sales meetings as required
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ansell products and services
Requirements
Knowledge & Experience
- University or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience; Pharma experience or degree mandatory
- Experience in B2B selling; distributor sales experience is an asset
- Expertise in customer account management and development
- Experience with SAP/CRM systems
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Fluent English, French, and Arabic
- Excellent telephone, written, and virtual communication skills
