Ansell is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our team! 

 

The Strategic Accounts Manager is a senior sales role focused on driving double‑digit growth with North American industrial customers by managing Ansell’s largest and fastest‑growing accounts. The role combines executive‑level customer engagement with frontline execution, working closely with distributors and internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategic account plans, conduct business reviews, and ensure adoption and results aligned with Ansell’s overall business objectives.

What your role will be?

  • Manage and grow 10–15 existing client relationships, driving increased market share through sustained account development.
  • Lead and contribute to all aspects of revenue growth and commercial strategy across assigned verticals and customer segments.
  • Design and execute cross‑functional business plans to penetrate target markets, ensuring alignment and effective implementation across teams.
  • Define clear objectives, establish a strategic roadmap, and execute action plans to consistently deliver targeted outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for assigned accounts, closely tracking progress against strategic goals and performance metrics.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with C‑suite and senior executives, securing sponsorship for business plans and ensuring seamless collaboration across both organizations to achieve shared objectives.
  • Partner with regional field sales and channel teams to successfully deploy account strategies, driving growth in revenue, profitability, and share of wallet for Ansell products.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and customer‑specific programs for end users and channel partners, ensuring pricing alignment and consistency across the industrial channel while meeting business requirements.

     

 

What will you bring to Ansell?  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.

  • 7+ years of sales and/or business development experience in the industrial market preferred, with a strong emphasis on Aerospace & Defense and Automotive sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with AI tools and a demonstrated willingness to explore and adopt emerging technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of sales management systems and operating models.
  • Previous experience in account management and/or project management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time‑management, and customer resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and drive value.
  • Solid understanding of business, sales, and marketing practices, with experience in the Automotive and/or Aerospace industries strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 50%–60% to support trade shows, training sessions, and customer visits.

  • Strong end‑user relationship management skills, focused on trust‑based, value‑driven partnerships.

  • Proven effectiveness in matrixed, team‑based environments, collaborating across diverse stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
