Junior Corporate Lawyer
Paris, France
Full time (39 hours/week), Monday to Friday,
Hybrid After Probation – 3 Days Onsite
About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team within an international group. This role offers early responsibility and direct exposure to clients for whom we provide legal and corporate services. The position is ideal for a lawyer with first level professional experience who wants to develop in an international, client-facing environment.
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
Provide legal support on French corporate law matters, including company formation, governance, restructuring, and ongoing corporate secretarial work
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents (e.g. shareholders’ agreements, board resolutions, powers of attorney, service agreements)
Act as a point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and delivering pragmatic legal solutions
Liaise with internal teams (tax, finance, compliance) across different jurisdictions
Monitor changes in French corporate law and assess their impact on clients
Support senior lawyers on cross-border transactions and projects
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, risk management, and regulatory requirements
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
Qualified lawyer or Master’s degree in law
Strong knowledge of French corporate law
First professional experience (law firm, in-house, or professional services environment)
Fluent in English (working language); professional proficiency in French required
Comfortable interacting directly with clients and building long-term relationships
Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple matters simultaneously
