Are you a recent or upcoming engineering graduate with a passion for motorsport and advanced technology? We have an exciting brand new opportunity to join our Wind Tunnel Operations team at Aston Martin Formula One and play a key role in supporting the development of our race-winning cars.
As a Graduate Wind Tunnel Operations Engineer, you’ll support the day-to-day operation of our state-of-the-art wind tunnel and assist in delivering high-quality aerodynamic testing. You’ll be involved in everything from maintaining critical systems and calibrating precision instrumentation to supporting innovative development programmes.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining the wind tunnel to ensure reliable, high-performance testing.
- Calibrating instrumentation and ensuring accuracy before, during, and after test sessions.
- Assembling and maintaining test rigs for system verification and development work.
- Supporting the design, integration, and evaluation of new sensors and data acquisition systems.
- Recording and analysing test data to track performance and system health.
- Contributing to the development of new sensing technologies and testing methodologies.
- Supporting inventory management, parts tracking, and equipment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A degree or equivalent qualification such as Apprenticeship in disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Systems Engineering.
- Practical, hands-on experience with test equipment, instrumentation, or mechanical systems. This can be academic or in industry.
- Show flexibility and understanding in response to changing departmental needs and busy periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high‑quality work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
