Job Description

The Faculty Administration and Support department at INSEAD is responsible for managing academic operations and supporting faculty members by facilitating course planning and organizing teaching resources. It plays a key role in promoting academic excellence by supporting research initiatives and the professional development of faculty members.

INSEAD is seeking an Apprentice, Faculty Support Coordinator to join our Faculty Admin and Support department. This is an apprenticeship based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France.

About the Job

The Apprentice, Faculty Support Coordinator works very closely with a group of Faculty. S/he is the key contact and has a significant impact on their work, performing a wide range of tasks. The Faculty Support Coordinator is the principal contact regarding the faculty group within staff, students and external customers. S/he belongs to a team of FSC and is managed by and reports directly to the Area Manager, Faculty Support.

Your role within the team

A. Teaching coordination:

  • Prepare course: course website creation, copyright clearance
  • Support course during class for simulations, online polls/surveys
  • Collaborate with speakers, tutors, teaching assistants, students, graders, and campus teams
  • Follow up course: exam publication, grade reporting with the utmost accountability and confidentiality


B. Faculty Coordination :

  • Manage multiple complex calendars, arrange meetings, appointments
  • Provide a wide range of support including making travel arrangements, creating expense reports, proofreading documents and translating letters
  • Integrate new Faculty 


C. Conferences and Research :

  • Plan conferences: on and off-campus event logistics (travel arrangements, room set-up, accommodation reservation, group activity organization, catering…)

The ideal profile

  • Starting a Licence in business administration in September 2026.

General Skills

  • Fluent and/or bilingual English and French
  • Organised, ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
  • Highly skilled with IT tools with an ability to learn and rapidly adapt to new technologies
  • Sense of service

Functional skills

  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and pro-active
  • Excellent team-spirit, active team member yet able to work within a team and autonomously
  • Outstanding organiser and efficient multi-tasker
  • Discretion regarding confidential information expected
