As a Regional Contracting Director, you will lead, develop, and execute the regional strategy to drive sustainable growth, strengthen strategic partnerships, and increase WebBeds’ market share across assigned regions.

You will own senior-level relationships with key regional hotel partners and provide strategic direction to the regional team to maximise commercial performance, expand the portfolio, and deliver long-term value creation. Working cross-functionally with Contracting, Partner Success, Supplier Optimization, Connectivity, Sales, and Marketing teams, you will ensure alignment between regional execution and global chain objectives.

This role requires a strong commercial leader with deep industry expertise, strategic vision, and the ability to translate strategy into measurable results.

In this role you will:


Key responsibilities

  • Team leadership and performance management: Lead and manage a team of Contract Managers by establishing standards, objectives, and key performance indicators.

  • Performance oversight and coaching: Oversee performance through systematic reviews and appraisals, providing coaching to drive commercial effectiveness.

  • Travel and operational planning: Organize contracting-related travel, prepare teams, set clear targets, assess outcomes, and address performance gaps.

  • Regional product strategy execution: Execute the regional product plan and secure priority hotels deemed essential for business growth.

  • Strategic supplier relationship management: Cultivate and maintain senior supplier relationships, collaborating with Operations and Key Accounts to achieve desired results.

  • Contract execution and supply management: Ensure timely execution of new and renewal contracts to safeguard and expand supply channels.

  • Market competitiveness and pricing alignment: Monitor competitor pricing and availability, ensuring alignment with Yield and Revenue initiatives.

  • Partner advocacy and issue resolution: Advocate for preferred partners and resolve supplier service or operational challenges promptly.

  • Industry and connectivity awareness: Remain informed on evolving procurement and connectivity requirements, including channel manager platforms.

  • External representation and networking: Participate in trade events and engage with associations and tourist boards to strengthen pipelines and organisational presence.

  • Internal communication and alignment: Communicate product updates and priorities regularly to Sales and Key Accounts.

  • Reporting and business insights: Provide comprehensive reports to Head Office covering performance, potential risks, issues, and emerging opportunities.

  • Significant hotel contracting experience across assigned territories, with a track record of building a competitive, profitable portfolio.

  • Strong Excel and systems capability to analyze performance, manage contract data, and support disciplined commercial planning.

  • Strong commercial acumen with an ability to interpret market trends and performance data to improve revenue and margin.

  • Senior negotiator with experience leading complex supplier discussions and influencing outcomes across a matrixed organization.

  • Clear, confident communicator able to align stakeholders through concise updates, presentations, and written recommendations.

  • Comfortable prioritizing in a fast paced environment, balancing competing deadlines and making sound commercial decisions.

  • Strong attention to detail with disciplined contract governance, ensuring accuracy and compliance in commercial terms and data.

  • Collaborative leader with strong interpersonal skills, cultural agility, and the ability to build alignment across functions and geographies.

  • Proven ability to build and sustain senior relationships with hoteliers and key internal partners to deliver mutual value.
