Job Description

Coordinate laboratory activities, oversee group work, present slides and answer questions from groups of students or individuals, and relate laboratory activities to lecture material during each lab session. Mentor teaching assistants during weekly preparation meetings and offer teaching demonstrations to help them improve their teaching skills. Participate in mandatory weekly preparation meetings on Friday afternoons. Grade assignments and assessments in a timely manner and keep a record of student grades. Contribute to lab set up and clean up, hold office hours, proctor lecture exams, proctor make-up assessments, and participate in the final grades meeting. Knowledge, Skills Abilities: Successful candidates should have in depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology and teaching experience as a graduate teaching assistant or preceptor/tutor. This position requires great communication skills, great organizational skills, and teamwork.
