Job Description
Job Summary**
Installs, assembles, fabricates, maintains, and repairs mechanical piping systems and equipment for Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC projects, ensuring adherence to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities**
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine piping system layouts, dimensions, and materials required.
* Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes, valves, and fittings using various tools and techniques (e.g., welding, brazing, soldering, grooving).
* Install pipe supports, hangers, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment according to project plans.
* Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines to locate and repair leaks or other deficiencies.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems to ensure optimal functionality.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure efficient project completion.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry codes and regulations.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment.
* Provide accurate documentation of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.
Job Qualifications**
* Proven experience as a pipefitter, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
* Strong knowledge of various piping materials, tools, and installation techniques.
* Experience with different pipe joining methods (e.g., welding, brazing, soldering, mechanical connections).
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and at heights.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
