D471 Reactor Plant Planning Yard (RPPY) Reactor Plant Fluids Engineering supports mission readiness of LOS ANGELES, OHIO, SEAWOLF, and VIRGINIA Class commissioned submarines by providing engineering technical support for modernization and maintenance of the reactor plant. RPPY engineers also provide engineering support for Naval Nuclear Power Training Units, which include the Moored Training Ships and the S8G Prototype.   This position requires the ability to resolve a wide variety of technical challenges, directly supporting the commissioned fleet and trainers.
