The HKUST Office of Global Learning is seeking a dynamic and dedicated candidate for the Officer role. We are looking for a creative and resourceful candidate with a passion for fostering an international campus and empowering students through global experiences.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting with study abroad programs and enriching the overall international student experience. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating and executing engaging student events and activities on campus and around Hong Kong. Additionally, you will drive marketing and social media to promote global learning experiences and work closely with the international student community to build strong engagement.

The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree. Preference will be given to those who possess international experience, including study or work abroad. You must demonstrate the exceptional ability to build excellent rapport and work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds. Furthermore, the successful candidate must be an excellent team player who collaborates seamlessly with team members as well as internal and external stakeholders.  We are also seeking a highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills, who will thrive in the dynamic nature of international education programs.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree holder

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience

• Native fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese

• Strong communication skills, adept at presentations

• Strong computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Demonstrated proficiency in social media, photography, graphic design, video shooting and editing is advantageous.

(Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
