The Office of the Dean of Science is seeking a high-caliber individual to join the undergraduate student recruitment and admissions team as an Assistant Manager (Student Recruitment & Admissions). The appointee will play a key role in supporting student recruitment, admissions operations, and program promotion initiatives for the School of Science.
Key responsibilities:
Support undergraduate student recruitment and admissions activities, including handling enquiries, processing applications, and preparing reports.
Assist in the development and production of marketing and promotional materials for undergraduate programs.
Plan, coordinate, and support recruitment-related events and activities, including information sessions, and outreach programs.
Produce and manage multimedia content for educational and promotional purposes, including videos, social media posts, and other digital materials.
Provide secretarial and administrative support to committees and working groups as assigned.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds and at various levels.
Occasional work outside normal office hours and travel outside Hong Kong may be required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the tertiary education sector.
A strong sense of responsibility, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently with flexibility.
Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
An outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
Good knowledge of IT and software applications, including Chinese word processing, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, database management, and website maintenance.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a written test. (Duration: 2 years)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
