ABOUT ROLE
Pond is searching for an Interior Designer with 11+ years experience that leads the design and execution of complex interior projects across commercial, government, and hospitality sectors. Responsible for delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions with a strong emphasis on Revit-based production and compelling visual presentations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs all responsibilities of Interior Designers I–III.
Leads projects from concept through construction administration.
Develops creative design concepts, space plans, and finish selections aligned with client goals.
Produces and oversees Revit documentation (plans, elevations, details, 3D views).
Creates client-facing visual presentations (renderings, mood boards, finish palettes).
Presents design solutions clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Ensures compliance with codes, accessibility, and safety standards.
Manages project scope, schedules, budgets, and coordination with internal/external teams.
Prepares specifications, material selections, and cost estimates.
Supports bidding, negotiations, and construction administration activities.
Conducts site visits and post-occupancy evaluations.
Provides mentorship and quality control for junior staff.
Maintains strong client relationships and delivers projects on time and within budget.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May supervise and mentor Interior Designers and support staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
11+ years of experience, preferably in commercial, government, or hospitality design.
Required Skills:
Advanced Revit proficiency (required)
Strong visual presentation and rendering skills (Enscape, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
Expertise in space planning, materials, and FF&E selection
Knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards
Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills
Certifications:
NCIDQ certification preferred
Software:
Revit (required), Adobe Creative Suite preferred, Microsoft Office

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS / TRAVEL
Work is primarily performed in an office environment with occasional site visits. Must be able to use standard office equipment and travel as needed for project and client requirements.
