SUMMARY:
The Electromyography Sales Specialist is a crucial team member who works closely with District Sales Managers to achieve Electromyography (EMG) sales growth in target accounts or key product areas in assigned territory.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and may include additional duties as assigned:
Represent Natus as the global industry leader in Neurodiagnostics (EMG/NCS/EP/NMUS).
Attain sales quota and market share objectives within assigned territory.
Effectively communicate the Natus EMG value proposition.
Partner and collaborate with Natus EMG DSM to exceed sales expectations.
Assist Territory DSM with sales presentations and interaction with Neurologists, Physiatrists, and other Neuromuscular Specialists, peer-to-peer education events, new physician training, and physician education.
Build Clinical and Administrative champions within Neuro departments of customer IB (Install Base).
Work closely with internal teams, including sales support, customer service, and product development, to ensure customer satisfaction and product success.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
Provide management with feedback on the status of new and existing business opportunities.
Act as a liaison with key physicians regarding clinical needs, patient management direction, and effectiveness of products.
Act as a field resource to the Marketing Department during product development, new product introductions, and product promotions.
Meet quarterly with the Clinical Application Manager to review sales performance, target account progress, and competitive landscape.
Support the Sales team in training new hires on the EMG product line, ongoing training/development needs for the sales force as needed, and developing/revising training materials and assist the sales trainer with training programs in the US.
Maintain a high level of clinical, market, and product knowledge.
Operate within defined budgets and strictly follow corporate policies and procedures.
Performs administrative duties on time and as defined by management.
Be a role model for ethical and professional behavior.
Maintain fiscal responsibility, adhering to corporate expense guidelines.
Manage day-to-day home office / clerical responsibilities.
Participate in special projects as directed.
Travel: Extensive travel required up to 70%
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Experienced NCS Technologist Required
R.NCS.T., CNCT, or CNIM certified preferred
Must have a working knowledge of Electromyography tests, Nerve Conduction studies, Evoked Potential monitoring, and Neuromuscular Ultrasound
Clinical experience with Natus EMG preferred
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college is strongly preferred
Sales experience in the medical industry preferred
Teaching experience in Neurodiagnostics a plus
Ability to work independently or with small groups of support staff a plus
Excellent verbal, communication, and presentation skills required
Computer skills required: knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Require professional and ethical references at a high level
Require current driver’s license
