Job Description

DC Training Coordinator

Location: Fort Myers, FL | Status: Onsite | Department: Distribution Center

Develop Talent, Drive Performance, and Strengthen DC Operations

LeeSar and Cooperative Services of Florida (CSF) are seeking a DC Training Coordinator to lead training and development initiatives within our Distribution Center. This role plays a critical part in onboarding new associates, delivering ongoing education, and supporting operational excellence through effective, engaging training programs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a distribution center professional who enjoys teaching, coaching, and partnering with leadership to build skilled, engaged teams in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

Training & Development

  • Coordinate and deliver new hire onboarding and job-specific training programs
  • Develop, update, and maintain training materials related to systems, processes, safety protocols, and best practices
  • Identify ongoing training needs and create continuing education plans aligned with operational goals
  • Facilitate engaging, effective training sessions using appropriate instructional methods
  • Measure training effectiveness and learning outcomes, adjusting programs as needed

Systems & Process Support

  • Maintain working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related distribution technologies
  • Support training related to Elite software and other DC systems
  • Maintain accurate training documentation, records, and compliance tracking

Associate Engagement & Support

  • Serve as a resource and role model for new hires, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Partner with DC leadership and Human Resources to support associate development and engagement
  • Assist in identifying skill gaps and opportunities for individual and team growth

Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure training content aligns with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify, report, and escalate safety concerns promptly
  • Promote adherence to LeeSar policies, procedures, and attendance standards
  • Support a clean, organized, and safe distribution center environment

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with Process Excellence and leadership teams on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in problem-solving efforts related to training, quality, and performance gaps
  • Communicate effectively across departments to support consistency and operational success

What You Bring

Required / Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a distribution center environment
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English for work-related communication

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong instructional, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication across diverse audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong customer-service orientation
  • Ability to lift and maneuver 35–50 lbs as required
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a cross-functional team
