POSITION OVERVIEW |

The Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) Consultant is responsible for providing hope centered and trauma informed Mental Health consultation and support. The IECMH Consultant collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide IECMH consultation to support relational health and well-being for Early Childhood staff, children, and their families. The IECMH Consultant will utilize evidence-based and best practice standards to ensure quality service delivery and support to clients and agency partners while ensuring compliance to agency policy, accrediting bodies, and state licensure requirements. Teachers. IECMH Consultations are expected to deliver high quality, client centered, and impactful services evidenced by positive outcome measurements and client self-reports.All employees and volunteers are expected to reflect Sunbeam Family Services’ core values and to perform at Sunbeam’s standards of excellence at all times. |

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently communicate with staff and others, and must be able to exchange accurate information when doing so. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, attend meetings, etc. Must be able to detect, discern, distinguish, observe, inspect and compare. Occasionally must be able to move needed materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Work Environment Provide therapy in an office, school, or other community setting (school-based or community setting, limited home based setting for Sunbeam Foster Families), Will work in close proximity to client(s), staff, and children. The noise level in the work environment may vary from moderate to loud. The noise level in the work environment varies from moderate to loud; frequent chaotic situations will occur, characteristic to working with children ages 0 – 5 years. Employee must expect exposure to strong odors such as soiled diapers and clothes, and poor hygiene. May come into contact with childhood diseases and blood on occasion. Some clinical services may be provided virtually as approved. All services provided remotely must be conducted in compliance with all Sunbeam policies and procedures.
