Water's Edge Resort and Spa is currently accepting applications for experienced line cooks in our busy kitchens. Want to work in a fun, fast paced environment? Come join our team!
Responsibilities may include:
• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, and appetizers
• Plating prepared foods based on chef’s guidance
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Cleaning work area kitchen and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings & holidays
- Previous kitchen experience required
- Punctual
- Energetic, motivated personality
- Must have stamina, must be able to stand for hours at a time
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- This is a seasonal position that could lead to a year round position
