Buyer

The Material Management/Buyer is responsible for the procurement of material and services as assigned by the Director/Manager of Material Management.� Must understand inventory control in order to minimize stock and non-stock orders.� Must be able to communicate with department managers regarding discrepancies, pricing, substitutes and backorders.� Must be able to prioritize duties for optimum productivity.� Able to process and organize purchase orders and receiving documents for Accounts Payable
