Design and Build Scalable Full-Stack Solutions
DeNOVO Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Engineer – Mid to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications across the full technology stack using Vue, Node/Express, and MongoDB. This role focuses on building modular APIs, implementing NiFi flows for messaging and integration, and writing comprehensive unit and integration tests. The engineer will optimize both frontend and backend performance while supporting CI processes and contributing to continuous improvement of team standards.

A Day in the Life
- Develop and maintain full-stack features using Vue, Node/Express, and MongoDB.
- Consume and create APIs focused on modular and scalable design.
- Implement and troubleshoot NiFi flows for messaging and API integrations.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests across the stack.
- Optimize frontend performance and backend logic for efficiency.
- Participate in CI processes and contribute to team development standards.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience with Python and JavaScript (intermediate+), Vue.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB (CRUD + schema familiarity).
- Working knowledge of NiFi for flow building and system integration.
- Proficiency with testing tools such as Vitest, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Familiarity with Git for version control and Postman for API validation.
What You Need
- Experience: Five (5) to ten (10) years of related professional experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer science or related discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Programming, or Systems Engineering). In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, two (2) additional years of related experience may be substituted.
- Substitution of Experience: A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Cyber Security, Engineering or Computer Science) may be substituted for two (2) years of experience. A PhD from an accredited college or university in a related engineering discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of experience.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph
