Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Engineering Specialist who combines strategic thinking with strong hands-on technical expertise
This role is designed for someone who goes beyond coordination and reporting, actively shaping quality practices while working closely with engineering teams to embed quality into every stage of the software development lifecycle
You will play a key role in improving delivery speed, reliability, and release confidence by driving modern testing practices, automation, and AI-assisted engineering approaches
About the Role As a Quality Engineering leader, you will define and implement quality strategies while staying close to the technical execution
You will collaborate with engineers, DevOps, product teams, and delivery leaders to design scalable testing solutions, improve CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high-quality software delivery
This is a hands-on role where you will actively contribute to automation frameworks, test architecture, and modern SDLC practices, including the adoption of AI-driven workflows
Responsibilities Define and evolve quality engineering strategy across multiple delivery teams Design, review, and improve automation frameworks and reusable testing assets Integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines Optimize pipeline feedback, test reliability, execution time, and regression strategies Promote modern testing practices such as shift-left, risk-based testing, contract testing, API-first testing, and production feedback loops Build or guide solutions across API, UI, integration, E2E, non-functional, and exploratory testing Define quality metrics, dashboards, release evidence, and actionable reporting Drive adoption of AI-assisted SDLC practices, including testing, coding agents, and validation workflows Establish governance and guardrails for AI-driven development (traceability, reviewability, human oversight) Identify risks early and translate them into practical mitigation strategies Mentor engineers and QEs while remaining actively involved in technical delivery Act as a subject matter expert in client discussions, workshops, and technical proposals Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, SDET, or similar roles Strong hands-on expertise in automation framework design and implementation Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python, C#) Solid experience with API, UI, integration testing, and regression strategies Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar Strong understanding of modern testing principles and quality ownership Proven ability to improve flaky tests, slow pipelines, and unstable environments Good knowledge of DevOps, cloud-native architectures, microservices, and distributed systems Experience with observability tools, metrics, logs, and production feedback loops Exposure to AI-assisted engineering, AI testing, and LLM-based workflows Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Pragmatic mindset balancing quality, speed, and business impact Additional information Besides an exciting job in a tremendous team, here's what you can expect: A fast-paced tech environment Continuous growth & learning Open feedback culture Room for own initiative & ideas Transparency about results & strategy Recognition & reward for hard work Working with a flexible schedule Medical subscription Meal tickets Extra vacation days - starting with 25 vacation days Many others perks
